Terms of use

Last updated October 15, 2026

SwarmCode is free, open-source software. These terms cover this website and how the software is offered. The software itself is governed by its license.

License

SwarmCode's source code and builds are licensed under the Apache License 2.0. If these terms and the license conflict for the software, the license wins. Third-party components keep their own licenses (for example Electron and Chromium, listed in the app's LICENSES.chromium.html, and the Geist fonts under the SIL Open Font License).

No warranty

SwarmCode is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, as described in sections 7 and 8 of the license. To the extent permitted by law, the contributors are not liable for any damages arising from using the website or the software.

AI output

SwarmCode uses AI models that can be wrong. Its tests, reviews and security checks reduce risk but don't remove it. Review changes before you ship them, keep backups, and use version control. You are responsible for the code you merge and deploy.

Model providers

When you connect an AI provider, you use it under that provider's terms and pay its fees. SwarmCode shows token use and estimates, but you are responsible for your provider account and spending limits.

Names and comparisons

"SwarmCode" and its logo identify this project. Other product names on this site are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify those products; SwarmCode is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Comparisons and benchmarks describe our own tests and public documentation at the time of writing. Products change, so tell us if something is out of date.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version, and the full history is public in the project repository.
